Everyone was calling to me. It was too noisy, so I woke up. Ami’s voice was especially loud.
PGSM → Act 14: “Usagi is Turning into a Youma?”

One of the things I adore about Usagi is how her heart is so huge as to be near bottomless. She loves everyone so fiercely, and none of her relationships diminish the others. That’s a tough thing to pull off in fiction, particularly with young heroines, who tend to become completely wrapped in their love interest to the near-exclusion of all else. Here though, despite the legacy and the destiny and the blah blah, Usagi can’t cast aside her friends for her love. Mamoru is important, but not more than they are. If her only options are to let him live and disgrace their sacrifice or kill him and be worthy of them, Usagi chooses to be worthy.

I got this feeling that we’re gonna be alright
The kids are alive and kicking, running for their lives
You’ll never know friends like these
And you’ll never know, you’ll never know.
