I’ve seen this picture a lot before but looking at it right now, for some reason, the significance and beauty of it really struck me. Maybe because it’s everywhere in the SM fandom, I’d never really paid close attention to it, but it’s quite striking. Usagi looks quite peaceful and serene, completely cocooned in her enormous wings, isolated but vulnerable. At this point I’m prattling so I’ll just sum up with what every Sailor Moon fan has been saying for years; ooh isn’t it pretty, ooohhh.
